What do Christians, the Torah, the Zohar, and Kaballah all have in Common?

A Hebrew Heritage... Many Christians are unaware of the significance of the influence of Constantine the Great on their faith, a faith that was once rooted in the Hebrew people. Most Christians have no idea where there religious beliefs and rituals have come from.
While most born again Christians claim to be devout followers of Christ and the bible, they have no idea how far off of The Way (Acts 9:2) - the new "church" that started after Jesus' ministry had begun - that they are.
Jesus, whose real name in Hebrew is Yahshua, had begun proclaiming things that caused His fellow Hebrew brothers and collective Jewish community, outrage. It was this growing rage toward Jesus, the leader of the newly forming Way, that led to His eventual crucifixion.
Prior to this, however, there were rituals, books, beliefs, and leaders of thought that had led the Jewish community. It was this community that had become outraged at the upset that this simple man, Jesus (Yahshua), was causing.
If you ask a typical Christian "What is the Talmud?", they're likely to give you a blank stare. Yet, it is one of the most utilized books that many of their Jewish "step-brothers" in Christ use today.
Christians today likely have heard of Kabballah, due to the publicity that Hollywood has given it, but most really know nothing about it except what they've heard through other's uninformed opinions. They know so little about it that most are also clueless about the Zohar, the book that goes with it.
It is this background of Jewish and Hebrew history, the Christian's true heritage, that has been buried beneath the Christian church today through the powerful religious influence of Constantine the Great, Sun-god worship, and his prevailing Roman empire. Today's "harlot church (modern Christianity) had started out innocent enough through Jesus, but was quickly swallowed up shortly after His death and resurrection by this powerful Roman influence. The Way had literally been hijacked!
The truth that had once began to emerge through Christ and His followers, had been forcefully and all but completely swept away leaving nearly every part of it hidden beneath a pile of rubble and ruins. Too many Christians complain about other religions without really knowing much about their own. Believing that they are on the 'true' path of life simply by being born again, they are ignorant of their own daily rituals and activities that they follow, which have come down through the generations. They continually make the same excuses over and over for Sunday worship, Easter and Christmas celebrations, etc.
Ishmael and his descendants, and the Islamic faith that arose out of their generation, have much more of their Hebrew heritage written into their religion. Yet they too, have gotten way off course. There is a great deal more to be learned, however, about the connection between modern Christianity, the Torah, the Zohar, and Kaballah.
In summary, it is critical for a true believer and follower of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Moses, to study the history and truth of their heritage and faith.

Well written Kaloomba and hopefully you have opened some eyes with your hub. Even with facts as I try to provide in my articles, you find yourself up against the tremendous resistance of misguided and misled faith. The best you can do is keep providing them with the information and hope that someday they see the light.
I am a student of kabbalah and not Madonnas Kabbalah. I just wanted to say I come from christian roots and new something was missing and G-d landed me square in front of the wisdom of kabbalah. I LOVE this article !! also to correct Make Money, Kabbalah is as old as Abraham, pre-Christianity or any organized religion for that matter.
I do love your article. I am thinking Hebrew way for long time.
Just few comment. Constantine has not to be blamed since he just made equal Christianity to Pagan religion. He was not even Christian. He was baptized on the dead bad, by sprinkling with water by some priest. I hope he was saved.
The corruption of church started earlier. It happen when umbilical priesthood was reestablished and church clergy organisation took place.
Thanks for this hub. Jesus is My Lord.
I would like to add that not all what is common may be right.
I think the New Age is malignant.
Bless you.
Yes. ALL the books speak the same:
How the Light comes into the world;
That Light becomes dimmed;
That dimmed Light calls out to God for help.
The Zohar, the New Testament, the Pistis Sophia, all speak of this. That's it.
Christians have a beautiful story of that process in Mary Magdalene (the dimmed Light) calling to the Christ (the Angel of the Light).
The Holy Family is Father, Mother, Son, Daughter. We are Nukva in exile. We are the shadow calling to the Son (Christ-Zer Anpin) for re-inclusion.
Thanks
Thank you Kaloomba for this article. I am a person who came to learn about Jesus through the Christian church two years ago. I called myself a "Christian" for some time but have recently changed that to simply "I love Jesus" for what he stood for and his teachings. What I am trying to say here, is that I am seeking the truth from the beginning. I'll be taking an intro to Judaism class at a synagogue starting at the end of this month. I am very interested the Hebrew roots and history. If you can suggest any websites or literary readings it will be greatly appreciated. Lastly, I too, am saddened at the lack of effort on the part of Christians to seek out their history and roots.
Wow those are some great points to be made, people will find the trueth if they keep praying and seeking. some time its right in front of your eyes.
interesting...i have always for a while have been aware that the roman empire pulled off the biggest transforming act in history going from a military empire to hijacking christianity.. after all yashuas followers had been hunted down and executed..i,m particularly interested in the teaching of issac luria..ein sof and ayin make perfect sense to me as does meditation on the sacred name YHVH..thier is nothing evil about this i often meditate..upwards through the sefirot with no ill effect..rather its leads to expansion and minimizing human ego
Was God the first anti-Semite?
In Exodus 32:7-10 God wants to consume/destroy the Israelites who offered human sacrifices of their children to Moloch. Not one of the first generation of Istealites that came out of Egypt were allowed into the Promised Land, not even Moses.
Jews NEVER talk about this HOLOCAUST of their children to Moloch, which is still taught in the Babylonian Talmud, TODAY!!!
The Lord Jesus Christ was crucified for proclaiming the I AM and not as a leader of a newly forming way.2000 years passed and many people still blind.
Okay, you piqued my interest. I was raised Catholic, had my own thoughts about everything in my early adulthood, especially about the divinity of Christ, and, now, I am a McGregor Baptist. My personal search for truth has led me to people and resources that have made me a "born again" Christian. Now I want to read your book list.
Thank you,Kaloomba, for your kind words and suggestions. My reading list is growing and that's a good thing. I shall get L. Grant Luton's "In His Own Words" and read the Preface, as I always do with any book. I love learning what's behind the writing or the reason for making the movie, so to speak.

Well kaloomba the Torah is in the Christian Bible. It's often said that the Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament. The first Christians were Jews who recognized that Jesus Christ, the Messiah died and was resurrected not just for Jews but for everyone. The Talmud, the Zohar, and Kabballah all came about by Jews that did not believe that Jesus is who He is, God. The Talmud, the Zohar, and Kabballah all came about after the birth of Christianity so basically they have nothing to do with the heritage of Christianity. Besides the Talmud does not speak very highly of both Jesus and His mother. The Herod family, one of which took part in the persecution of John the Baptist as well as Jesus Christ were descended from Jacob's brother Esau (Edom), not of the twelve tribes. No doubt that is what Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 are referring to. Thanks but I'll pass. Mike
